Whole Foods Announces Prime Day Deal. Spoiler Alert: It’s Free Money!

If you love free money and Whole Foods , you’ll love this deal. The store is having its very own celebration of Prime Day, and free cash is exactly what you’ll get.

The Amazon-owned grocery store will be offering Prime members a $10 credit that they can use during the 36-hour Prime Day event. In order to qualify for the deal, all you have to do is spend $10 or more at Whole Foods between July 11 and July 17.

Besides Free Money, What Other Prime Day Related Deals Can You Get?

Whole Foods is offering some other deals besides the $10 free money credit. Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card holders are used to getting a 5% cash back bonus when they shop at the grocery store. From July 14 to July 17, that number will double to 10%.

If you’re a first-time customer of Amazon’s Prime Now delivery service, you’ll get an extra $10 off your first order – plus $10 off a future order.

Other groceries that you’ll save on with your Prime Membership? Expect 40% off boneless chicken breasts, as well as buy-one, get-one free Honey Nut Cheerios and Allegro coffee bags. Just like the Whole Foods free money deal, these food saving deals will start on July 11 and go until July 17.

Currently Whole Foods only accounts for 2% of the total number of grocery stores in the United States. But it’s possible that number will grow with Amazon’s help. The e-commerce giant is trying to leverage its Whole Foods target demographic as a way to get people to buy into its $119-a-year premium service. And that’s a pretty good consumer base to start with… The theory is that they’ll make things like delivery and deals too attractive to Whole Foods consumers not to pay an additional $119 a year.

We recently told you about how you can save more money at Whole Foods – the one supermarket most notorious for running our wallets to the ground. Head to this article to find out more – and save at Whole Foods at any time of the year.

Prime Day begins this coming Monday, July 16 at 3 pm eastern time.
